If this is what happens to friends.....
I knew our VP was a crotchedy ol' cuss, and a dangerous enemy. Now we learn what it's like to be his friend. Some advice for W - don't go anywhere with Dick, and don't invite him down to Crawford. As shadow president he's scary enough, and with designs on your job and a shotgun in hand.......

Did you notice that the biggest news about this event seems to be the news "blackout" and that the White House waited a day or so to tell anyone.
What, Karl Rove doesn't get one day off?
To me there's only a story connected to the "blackout" if the media that travels with the VP were told not to report anything, or were in some other way censored beyond the normal waiting period for the family to be notified as happens in these type of stories.
Anyone think that the Secret Service got to Mrs. Armstrong and gave her some "talking points"?
