Our new president tops the list, but I chalk that up to the PACS recognizing who was going to be the winner and making sure they got in good graces with the new boys in town. On the other hand, the second politician on the list is chair of the senate banking committee. And under investigation (sort of, our AG is his political buddy and a fellow Democrat) for taking insider mortgages from Country Wide, one of the major providers of the toxic assets bundled into derivitives and held by investment houses like Bear Stearns and AIG. Seems like these guys were being very responsive....
no question about it. I am happy to see some folks putting this Internet thing to good use!
