Happy, Happy! Joy, Joy!

a couple of thoughts while i remember those fun days of watching Ren and Stimpy on Nickelodean with my daughters when they were so young...

daisy stopped by yesterday. no only that, she commented here and several other places in the blog world. yay! i really was thinking about her yesterday morning and praying things were good. it seems they are.

annamaria posted. will wonders never cease? actually she has the same overworked challenges many of us have right now. perhaps it is part of a plan to stiffle opposition to karl rove's world dominance - keep us all so freaking busy trying to pay our bills we will not notice the things they are doing. fortunately, rat and dusty will help keep us tuned in to the irony...

i just finished my first jar of chunky style peanut butter in 15 years. i grew up with Skippy chunky peanut butter on all my Fluffernutter sandwiches. or when i only ate mint apple jelly with it. but it was always chunky....we make compromises when 2 become 1 however. but i recently realized that eating chunky peanut butter at work was not a sign of disloyalty to my marriage vows. and so i have been enjoying my simple gourmet pleasure as i make my own lunch here....

the Dallas Mavericks actually won their playoff series with the San Antonio Spurs. wow! I admit that i did not think they would do it. at least i am gratified that someone must have told Coach Avery Johnson of my plan for their success (and the only one that would have worked): outrun the champs and take advantage of the depth the Mavericks have. to whoever relayed my wisom to the coach, thank you. i can look forward to 32 more weeks of late night playoff games! oh yeah, my wife thanks you as well - another diversion ;-
so i received several comments regarding "open and frank" talks in the workplace. hey y'all? i love being naive okay? sometimes there is beauty in being simple. that forward thinking vision thing? that justs puts too much pressure on me....hahaha! thanks for the advice and i think i know what you were trying to tell me. keep me in your prayers then, even if you think they aren't worth much!

ok. time to work now!
