Old Music New
Caught the end of a concert on PBS 13 last night. David Broza at Masada: Concert at Sunrise. I know I've heard him before, but seeing him in this show with Shawn Colvin and Jackson Browne I was really impressed. I've linked to his website where you can listen to some of his songs. Check out Chileno Boys. It's on the Away From Home cd. Along the Hudson is nice also.

i saw that as i was surfing past... i almost stopped but the "info" told me he was an Israeli guitarist...being that it was the night before Hanukkah starting, i figured it was going to be Klesma music and i wasn't in the mood.
i'll have to check him out, as soon as i am finished with the daily dose of Ryan Adams. Wow.
check out this show from a couple years ago.
It definitely isn't klesmer. Think rock and roll flamenco guitar.
