I liked my idea better

About a week or so ago, I came into the men's room here at work and there was that roll of toilet paper perched atop the flush lever on the urinal. Now ladies, you might not realize this, but there isn't paper near a urinal usually. That isn't to say it isn't necessary... some of you may be familar with the following rhyme most boys are taught -
No matter how much you jiggle,
No matter how much you dance,
The last drop of pee winds up in your pants.

And yet urinals are designed for paperless use. So when I saw the roll up on the handle, I was perplexed. I didn't move it, for it obviously had been placed there. I just sorta wondered. As an example of how our minds continue to work on problems even when we are not consciously trying to solve them, I walked into the bathroom the other day and it hit me. I KNEW why the paper was there!

One of our salesmen can be a little bit........haughty. It isn't that he thinks his shit doesn't stink. It's more that he thinks his smells good. And if it doesn't to you, too freaking bad because he makes LOTS more money than you do....

So it was that I flashed on the reason the paper is there. He has decided he makes enough money to wear silk boxers. Everyone knows that silk isn't near as absorbent as cotton. It would be embarassing to have a spot mid thigh when exiting the restroom. Ergo, the solution is to have paper to "daub" with. I knew there was an explaination.

When I told Darryl about it, he told me he had put the roll there. When he came in one day, it had apparently rolled out from one of the stalls and was one the floor in front of the urinal.

I like my explaination better. It seems more plausible to me...............
