How or Why?

I was driving to work this morning and heard another discussion/program blurb/view on the Evolution or Creationism argument. I am so tired of that...
But it did make me think this - sometimes we get so caught up in the how we were made discussion, I think we lose sight of the WHY were we made aspect of things, which to me allows us to put into perspective all the other questions.

You've got the how and why point down. Which is the root of argument between literal fundamentalist Christians and secular fundamentalists. The fundies with their undies twisted over evolution are the flip side of the coin from the secular fundies. Both try to ascribe meaning to texts and data that isn't there.

I am soooo in agreement with you. If scientists wanted to know how, they could just read Genesis. They should be focusing on curing cancer and stuff, not worrying about contradicting God.
