Today is the day!

Yippee! Today is the day (or night rather) of the New Riders Of The Purple Sage concert. The venue is a converted movie theater that has been adapted into a dinner theater type operation. Capacity for tonight's seating arrangement is about 500.

Kevin and I will be on the right side of the right aisle facing the stage, probably no more than 50 feet from the stage. In other words, close enough for Tiger Woods to stand an excellent chance of making the putt range.

I hope they play Henry but will be satisfied just to hear them. You'd think after 40 years of playing they should be pretty good....

Hope you enjoy. Have a great time. But don't be disappointed if the vocals are different than you remember: the band has a new lineup from the old days. A couple of the new guys come by way of Hot Tuna.

I alway loved that band. My fave was Glendale Train
"Well, Amos he was marking time
When the door blew off his car
They found Amos White in fifteen pieces
Fifteen miles apart"
