Strange coincidence or not?
I just realized something -
Peter Tork was in The Monkees, a mildy popular band in the late 60s. His father was reportedly a professor at the University of Connecticut at the time. My oldest brother was attending the school at the time. I lived in Connecticut then.
Mike Nesmith's mother invented liquid paper (so the legend goes) and is from Dallas.
I live in Dallas now.
How weird is that?

Calling the Monkees a "mildly popular" band is like calling Shaquille O'Neill "slightly tall". I know; I was there when they burst on the scene in the mid-60s. Even though the band was formed for tv, they became very popular for a few years.
that's one of the problems with text only - sarcasm is so difficult!
I guess I'll have to tell my Davy Jones story....
Please no! Don't tell it Krut (no typo)
the theme from the twilight zone is ringing in my head...ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love Davy Jones, the way; let's hear the story, please
I heard the lady who invented Liquid Paper is pretty rich.
