Finally chillin'

It's over for sure now. Yesterday it was 102 degrees in Dallas. Today it might get to 75.
While that's very nice and my budget will certainly enjoy a respite from the air conditioning running nearly 24/7, I am still sad.
I love summer.
Every year at this time, I get sad because it is going away. Indeed, the thrill is gone.
The best thing about fall is the World Series. Especially since I don't live in Connecticut anymore and can't pick apples right off the trees...
Hopefully I'll be around to see next summer. ;-P
