Anyone but Oprah...

Alright, now i face a real quandry. i like barak obama, i like his wife and i like the manner in which he has conducted himself. i think the issues he has spoken about are easy ones to pick sides on and will be difficult to flesh out with actual plans. were he to become the nominee for President, it would be interesting to watch how the pros of the party try to manipulate him and whether he would have the conviction and political sense to resist their urge to move him left. John Kerry couldn't do it.

but i noticed this morning that the news is saying Oprah has come out for him. oh dear. i am VERY afraid of Oprah - she has enormous power, knows exactly how to wield it and scares me. while she speaks in glowing terms of protecting families and seeking justice, she may be the biggest threat to american men on the planet today. forget about Taliban fighters or some Saudi hiding in a cave or even the Iranian President. we need to keep an eye on this lady!
