March Madness?

For the past couple of years, this week has been one of fixation on the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship tournament. Between filling out brackets and listening to Norm's picks on the radio, I have managed to do okay on the pools. In fact, last year everyone's bracket picks were pretty well blown the first weekend and I wound up winning the pool I play with Wake.
This year, I haven't been into it that much. I have so much other stuff going on in my life, that it has been pushed a bit to the background. I will try to watch the games, but I couldn't hope to have any success with my picks.
Work has been busy. There is a lot of activity I am involved with at church. And I have been paying a lot more attention to the different types of music people are turning me onto.
I don't listen to NPR much anymore since I started being the designated driver to work for Stephanie and I. I feel a bit lost on some of that. But I hope to be around to see you all more too. There should definitely be more time for that!
Oh, and for the record, I pick Ohio State.

New Music Monday

Arcade Fire
Neon Bible

the link connects to a site with previous releases, not Neon Bible, which came out March 5.
Y'all may already know the band. A new one for me. Makes me think of It's A Beautiful Day takes a trip on a Yellow Submarine. Or The Decemberists take a trip back in time with Timothy Leary. Enjoy Annamaria
