"The time between meeting and finally leaving is sometimes called falling in love..."

FRT

i think i am the only one still playing this game; annamaria and jen are really busy and so they may be in hiatus. but i love the variety of sounds that iTunes produces, so here is my list for this week:
1-Flower in the Rain by Jaci Velasquez
2-Open the Gates by Rock 'N' Roll Worship Circus
3-Arabian Dance from the Fantasia soundtrack (that's the Disney movie, kids. not the American Idol woman1)
4-Trust Me by Crystal Lewis
5-Tea and Sympathy by Jars of Clay
6-Knock-Down Drag-Out by Weezer
7-Loser by Jerry Garcia
8-I Get Around by The Beach Boys
9-DC-10 by Audio Adrenaline
10-Don't Try to Explain by Keb'Mo'

have a great weekend. smile. that is important.

More scattershooting

i will be glad when the nba playoffs are over and i can get some sleep. i am cranky and on the down side. it must be from staying up late to watch these games. i mean, what else could it possibly be?

annnamaria is ok. she is just really busy at work and has no time for blogging during the day. then when she gets home, she is wiped out and needs to veg. she told me this in an email that i could have written if someone had emailed me with concern over my lack of presence in the blog world. which no one did. >:-D

speaking of the nba, they just announced here in dallas that jason terry will be suspended one game for "punching" michael finley at the end of the last game. this just proves finley is a wuss. no one else at the game had any idea something had happened. of course, TNT network does not have the video of the incident posted yet. i think this is part of the nba realizing that this series should have been the conference finals not semis and they need 7 games. dorks.

while i am ranting on sports, i am reminded of dusty. she has a post up with a notice that Axl Rose appeared in a concert. sorry dusty, but i don't get the guy. i have always considered him way more sizzle than steak. it is hard to believe that you were "on the bus" deadhead in the park and close to the little feat players and offer kudos to this guy. maybe i shouldn't take his schtick seriously. i used to have the same trouble with David Lee Roth but now i laugh at his time with Van Halen. i just think of them as the 80s version of Beach Boys pop, all sugar, no spice.

i had a discussion with my boss (the guy from st. louis) earlier this week. he came in for a visit and we spent two hours talking. this is the first time that has ever happened. i usually don't have two hours consecutively and i know he had to make the room for it. it seemed like a review/warning when the written evaluation/measuring chart came out. i was assured this was not going anywhere. fortunately i was not asked to sign it. we did have very frank and open discussion. i felt much better after we spoke, that at least my opinions and views were being appreciated somewhat.
